The Biarritz ENGIE OPEN is more than a tennis tournament, it is a sporting, cultural and solidarity event which offers you a week rich in activities and meetings.

Monday, June 9

  • 9 a.m.: Start of the Padel tournament for ESTIA and Le Connecteur

  • 10:30 a.m.: Screening of the film "Invincibles été" on the Coubertin stage

Come watch the screening of the film "Invincible Summer," directed by Olivier Goy, the patron of our 2025 edition, which focuses on disability, and who is also an ambassador for the Brain Institute. A moving and hopeful documentary, it retraces his fight against Lou Gehrig's disease with extraordinary strength and resilience.

Join us to discover the story of a man who transforms adversity into light. A poignant testimony about courage, love, and acceptance. After the documentary, attend a live interview with Olivier Goy and participate in the signing of his book “Invincible.”

 

  • 12:15 p.m.: Interview with Olivier Goy, book signing, and sale of Invincibles t-shirts. Ends at 12:45 p.m., 1 p.m. Location: Coubertin Stage

  • 2 p.m.: Conference "Teaching in the Age of Inclusive AI," presented by Microsoft Education, for teachers. Location: VIP Village

AI is shaping our world at breakneck speed. What are its challenges, opportunities, and limitations? How is artificial intelligence transforming our jobs and daily lives?

As part of the Microsoft Education Tour de France, come and participate in a morning dedicated to AI in the era of education.

It will be hosted by Microsoft Education management, with testimonials and practical cases from various fields (school management, learning with AI, teaching methods, etc.). Emphasis will also be placed on the impact of professions such as teaching and the importance of developing new skills.

Technological trends (e.g., models, conversational agents) and issues such as governance, teacher support, and data security will also be discussed.

  • 3 p.m.: Conference "Raising awareness of disability and inclusion", round table presentation (ENGIE, Maxime Cabanne, City of Biarritz, Oliver Goy, etc.), open to all audiences. Location: VIP Village
    Disability should never be a barrier to inclusion. However, many challenges remain in building a more accessible and just society.
    Join us for the conference "Raising Awareness of Disability and Inclusion." A roundtable discussion led by committed stakeholders. Join our sponsor Olivier Goy, Maxime Cabanne, world parasurfing champion, as well as members of ENGIE and the city of Biarritz.
    Because inclusion is everyone's business, come take part in this essential discussion and make a difference!
     

  • 4 p.m.: Final draw (ENGIE + City of Biarritz), all audiences.
    Come watch the final draw for this 22nd edition. A ritual that marks the official launch of this renowned tournament every year. This year, our sponsor Olivier Goy will participate in the draw, hosted by the tournament director and the official referee, Mr. Carlos Ramos. This is an opportunity to discover live the first matches that will take place on the Biarritz clay court. Among the competitors in the running, the future champion!
     

  • 5 p.m.: Concert rehearsal + installation of Food Trucks and Drink Stands

  • 7 p.m.: Opening of the concert DJ Rinoa / The Avener / DJ Bens
    Evening and Private Concert to launch the tournament
    Every sporting event is also a moment of sharing and celebration.
    On the program:
    Opening DJ Set – DJ Linoa to kick off the evening with electrifying beats
    Live concert – The Avener for an exceptional show
    Closing DJ Set – DJ Bens to dance the night away
    A thrilling atmosphere on the Aguilera Esplanade! Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience a private evening where music reigns supreme until the next day, when French and international athletes will compete for the title.

Tuesday, June 10

Wednesday, June 11

  • 9:30 a.m.: Welcome to the Tennis School

  • 10 a.m.: Start of the morning Tennis School workshops. Location: Fronton

  • 2 p.m.: Start of afternoon workshops at the Tennis School. Location: Fronton

Thursday, June 12

  • 9 a.m.: Welcome to the Tennis and Entrepreneurship conference at Le Connecteur.
    Round Table: How Tennis Forges an Entrepreneurial Mindset?
    Join us for an inspiring morning dedicated to the parallels between tennis and entrepreneurship at Le Connecteur in Biarritz. Led by a mental health coach, this panel discussion will address key themes such as managing failure, perseverance, long-term planning, as well as strategy and decision-making.
    In addition, applied mental preparation workshops will allow you to experiment with techniques to develop a winning mindset, both on the court and in the business world.

Friday, June 13

  • 9 a.m.: Start of the Handicapped Tennis Tournament
    This year, the organizing committee is focusing on the theme of disability. It is in this inclusive approach that a 100% women's disabled tennis tournament will be held alongside the ITF from Friday, June 13th until Sunday, June 15th, the day of the ENGIE Open final. With €800 in prize money, this first edition of this mini-tournament is a celebration of the essential values of sport: self-improvement, solidarity, and respect. It helps raise public awareness of disabled sport. Each exchange on the court thus becomes a demonstration of determination and passion, proving that sport is a universal language that unites and inspires.

Saturday, June 14

  • 9 a.m.: Continuation of the Handicapped Tennis Tournament

  • 9 a.m.: Welcome to the young girls for "En-avant les filles"

  • 11 a.m.: French Para-Tennis Team Exhibition Match

  • 11:30 a.m.: VIP Village Opening

  • 7:30 p.m.: ENGIE Party Evening Location: La Terrasse

  • 9 a.m.: Continuation and end of the Handicapped Tennis Tournament

  • 9 a.m.: Welcome for young girls and parents for "En-avant les filles!"

  • 11:30 a.m.: Legends exhibition match
    Prepare to experience an exceptional moment with an exhibition doubles match featuring true tennis legends. Iconic champions such as Mansour Bahrami, Nathalie Dechy, and Guy Forget, each with an impressive track record, will meet on court for a prestigious clash, combining talent, spectacle, and nostalgia. This event will take place on the Sunday of the final at 11:30 a.m. The irreplaceable Nelson Monfort will return this year to provide courtside commentary on this exceptional match, ensuring you have a memorable experience!
