ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The EOB will celebrate
its 21st edition
For the second year, Biarritz Olympique and YO Agency are leading the organization of the ENGIE OPEN de Biarritz, and it is with great pleasure that I serve as the tournament director alongside Jérôme BARRIER, Jean-Marie DEGEILH, and the hundred volunteers who work tirelessly every day.
After the success of the 2024 edition, the tournament will aim for even greater excellence with:
-
Enhancements to the sports programming, including evening sessions,
-
Additional sports activities with an even greater focus on welcoming young people and all audiences,
-
The "En Avant Les Filles" operation, sponsored by ENGIE, which will be doubled and held over two days,
-
A more tailored and high-quality welcome for partners and the public.
I can only join Jérôme BARRIER and Jean-Marie DEGEILH in thanking the city of Biarritz and its mayor, Maider AROSTEGUY, for their support and for providing essential services. Special thanks also to ENGIE, led by Sabine DEVINCK (Director for Nouvelle-Aquitaine), a loyal partner for many years.
A big thank you as well to the many partners who contribute to this event and who will find a public relations space tailored to their expectations.
Finally, I would like to thank the French Tennis Federation, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine League, and the Pyrénées-Atlantiques Departmental Committee for their support, as well as the hundred volunteers from Biarritz Olympique involved in organizing this event.
So, join us at the Parc des Sports d’Aguilera from June 9 to 15 to experience an outstanding women’s sporting event.

A top level sports event
The ENGIE OPEN brings together the best players in the world every year. This year, the prize money remains at $100,000, which helps attract top-tier talent.
The tournament benefits from exceptional media coverage, thanks to the broadcast of the entire tournament on BeIN Sports, France 3 NoA and TVPI.
